Dr. Tirthala, is a compassionate Primary Care Physician who brings a wealth of experience and a holistic approach to healthcare in the Tampa Bay area. Born and raised in India, she pursued her medical education at Rangaraya Medical College. Following a residency at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center in Pennsylvania, Dr. Tirthala immersed herself in diverse hospitalist roles, spanning acute care and inpatient psychiatric settings.
With a decade of expertise as a Hospitalist, including a stint at UPMC Pinnacle, Dr. Tirthala holds triple board certifications in Internal Medicine, Obesity Medicine, and Lifestyle Medicine. Her interest in Lifestyle Medicine was driven by personal lifestyle changes and a desire to help others lead healthier lives.
In 2023, Dr. Tirthala and her family embarked on a new chapter in Tampa, Florida. Motivated by patient requests for outpatient care, she established her private practice, offering Internal Medicine and Lifestyle Medicine services. Dr. Tirthala is dedicated to guiding patients on their journey to optimal health, emphasizing the importance of a personalized and holistic approach to well-being.
In her free time, Dr. Tirthala loves cooking for her family, infusing her Indian heritage into her food with different spices for added flavor and health benefits. She is also a passionate advocate for organic gardening and cultivates pesticide-free produce to promote wellness both in and out of the clinic.
